This unique business needed a brand and website that would accurately represent them and their awesome homegrown and handmade products.
The Branding
The owner provided a selection of logos for inspiration in creating Lone Ostrich Acres’s logo. All of these had a vintage, patch-like feel while including a couple of different elements like a shape, established year, location, and graphic.
The final result for the logo is completely custom and captures the proper feel for the business. We were able to include all the elements, including a fantastic hand-drawn ostrich graphic made by someone close to the owner.
The owner wanted to use Green and Orange as their brand colors, so with the right source image, we were able to capture a harmonious blend of greens and orange for several different use cases.
The Website
Due to the product-focused nature of Lone Ostrich Acres, Shopify was chosen as the platform of choice for building their website. It allows for easy product management (inventory, pricing, etc.) while also offering a point-of-sale option for use at farmers’ markets and local pick-up options for online orders.

Each page got its own unique design custom tailored to it’s content. The same design elements are applied throughout in order to provide a cohesive feel across the website.
